This TOO will pass...

Once a king called upon all of his wise men and asked them,

" Is there a mantra or suggestion which works in every situation, in every circumstances, in every place and in every time. Something which can help me when none of you is available to advise me. Tell me is there any mantra?"

All wise men got puzzled by King's question. One answer for all question? Something that works everywhere, in every situation? In every joy, every sorrow, every defeat and every victory? They thought and thought. After a lengthy discussion, an old man suggested something which appeal to all of them. They went to king and gave him something written on paper. But the condition was that king was not to see it out of curiosity. Only in extreme danger, when the King finds himself alone and there seems to be no way, only then he'll have to see it. The King put the papers under his Diamond ring.

After a few days, the neighbors attack the Kingdom. It was a collective surprise attack of King's enemies. King and his army fought bravely but lost the battle. King had to fled on his horse. The enemies were following him. His horse took him far away in Jungle. He could hear many troops of horses were following him and the noise was coming closer and closer. Suddenly the King found himself standing in the end of the road - that road was not going anywhere. Underneath there was a rocky valley thousand feet deep. If he jumped into it, he would be finished…and he could not return because it was a small road…From back the sound of enemy's horses was approaching fast. King became restless. There seemed to be no way.
n
Then suddenly he saw the Diamond in his ring shining in the sun, and he remembered the message hidden in the ring. He opened the diamond and read the message. The message was very small but very great.

The message was - " This too will pass."

The King read it . Again read it. Suddenly something strike in his mind- Yes ! it too will pass. Only a few days ago, I was enjoying my kingdom. I was the mightiest of all the Kings. Yet today, the Kingdom and all his pleasure have gone. I am here trying to escape from enemies. However when those days of luxuries have gone, this day of danger too will pass. A calm come on his face. He kept standing there. The place where he was standing was full of natural beauty. He had never known that such a beautiful place was also a part of his Kingdom. The revelation of message had a great effect on him. He relaxed and forget about those following him. After a few minute he realized that the noise of the horses and the enemy coming was receding. They moved into some other part of the mountains and were not on that path.

The King was very brave. He reorganized his army and fought again. He defeated the enemy and regain his lost empire. When he returned to his empire after victory, he was received with much fan fare at the door. The whole capital was rejoicing in the victory. Everyone was in a festive mood. Flowers were being thrown on King from every house, from every corner. People were dancing and singing. For a moment King said to himself," I am one of the bravest and greatest King. It is not easy to defeat me.: With all the reception and celebration he saw an ego emerging in him.

Suddenly the Diamond of his ring flashed in the sunlight and reminded him of the message. He open it and read it again: "This too will pass"

He became silent. His face went through a total change -from the egoist he moved to a state of utter humbleness.

If this too is going to pass, it is not yours.
The defeat was not yours, the victory is not yours.
You are just a watcher. Everything passes by

We are witness of all this. We are the perceiver. Life come and go. Happiness come and go. Sorrow come and go.

Now as you have read this story, just sit silently and evaluate your own life. This too will pass. Think of the moments of joy and victory in your life. Think of the moment of Sorrow and defeat. Are they permanent ? They all come and pass away. Life just passes away.

There were friends in past. They all have gone.
There are friends today. They too will go.
There will be new friends tomorrow. They too will go.

There were enemies in past. They have gone.
There may be enemy in present. They too will go.
There will be new enemies tomorrow and......they too will go.

There is nothing permanent in this world. Every thing changes except the law of change. Think over it from your own perspective. You have seen all the changes. You have survived all setbacks , all defeats and all sorrows. All have passed away. If there are problems in the present, they too will pass away. Because nothing remains forever. Joy and sorrow are the two faces of the same coin. They both will pass away. Who are you in reality? Know your real face. Your face is not your true face. It will change with the time. However, there is something in you, which will not change. It will remain unchanged. What is that unchangeable ? It is nothing but your true self.

You are just a witness of change. Experience it, understand it.

Everyday for 10-15 minutes sit in silence. Just think over the sentence, " This too will pass."
Pondering over your own life will make you realize the true meaning of this sentence. Everything passes yet your real identity remains the same. That real you is your true self. To know that self is true meditation.

WHO AM I ???

Am I the Body and the Name
with or without Fame?
Am I the In-Out Breath
which makes Distinction Between Life and Death?
Am I the passing Thoughts,
the Whys, Hows, Whats and What Nots?
Am I the Decisions I make,
sometimes Genuine,sometimes Fake?
Am I the Impressions I got?
Some making impact and some easily Forgot ?
Am I the Feelings I feel,
some known to the world and some in veil?
Am I the Undying Smile
or the shot up anger for a while?
Am I my Likes and Dislikes
right from food, clothes, people  to bikes?
Am I the Dreams I dream
which makes me laugh, cry or scream?
Am I the Conscious Actions I take
or simply the Mistakes which I make?
Am I the Field of Consciousness
both Intuitive and full of Awareness?
Am I the Change of the Seasons
or the Permanence of the Reasons?
Am I the Beauty of the Flowers
or Am I the Strength of the Towers?
Am I a Noun?
Am I a Verb?
Or Am I an Adjective?
Am I what people Think of me
or
Am I what I Think of myself
or
Am I what I can NEVER think of myself?
Whether I am Something
or
whether I am Nothing
or
whether I am Everything,
one thing is for sure...
I AM AN INFINITE POSSIBILITY
Who am I?
Maybe I'll know only when I die..
Who am I?
Its no more a question like 'Why'?
I guess its a Wonder like 'Oh My My !!!'  :)

South - Indian Movies..

For the past 2-3 years,I did a lot of research on South Indian movies, especially Telugu movies.
And believe me,these movies are much much better, logical and entertaining than our Hindi movies :)
I dont understand any South-Indian language, but I used  to watch these movies with English subtitles... n amazingly they had the same impact or maybe more ;)
People used to think that i am a gone case...But now, many people in my hostel have seen these movies and really appreciate my taste :)
Some of my favourites are Bommarillu, Happy Days, Nuvvostanante Nennoddantana, Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam (its ok ok types) and many Mahesh Babu movies..(Great action !!!)
Do watch....U r surely missing out on something really good :)
And Yes...not to forget...Great melodious Music :)

Happy Bde Rahul................

I fell in LOVE with him n with Cricket 6 years ago..I used to wonder about his innocence, simplicity, dedication, strength, passion and all other good adjectives :)
RAHUL DRAVID.......It was infatuation to start with, when one day while watching a match a face looked so different among all..
"He's the One..." , I felt exactly the same..Felt that my search finally ended (Jus like they show in the hindi movies...'God has made someone special for everybody' ;)  ).Thanks to the teenage effect..

So he was my someone 'Special' .Suddenly, Cricket became religion..for me :) n he was my God..
My mind was filled with his thoughts and my room with his posters..My brother was a Die-hard Sachin fan n so the conflict began.."There will be no Rahul Dravid posters in our house. This is not a Barber ki shop."He used to say when we had any fight. And when we had extreme wali fights, his dhamki would be-"I'll tear off the posters."So,I had no option but to freeze :)
Slowly n gradually, the infatuation started to grow into Love..Days went collecting his photographs from newspapers n magazines, discussing about him, praying silently while he was batting, fielding or doing anything :)
Then one day suddenly news of his marriage came.I felt real bad (as if he was going to marry me ;) )But ya,I cried..cried for 3-4 days n then said let it be.I dont care. He's married now.So what?? I'll love him UNCONDITIONALLY....coz there was no other choice ;)
So,it continued..I continued with my unconditional Love.I was very famous amongst my friends for my Love, craze or whatever for him..They used to call me "Rahul-Deewani".
My Mother used to say, "He's so older than U.He's married and still U are mad behind him.Y??"
And I used to reply,"Kuch Kuch Hota Hai Mumma....Aap nahi samjhoge" and I would run away :)
My Father used to call him "Tuk-Tuk player coz he played so slowly. But nothing mattered to me. I continued.
I admire so many things about him..........Oh,my God !!!!!!!!He's so soft spoken..The most Decent,Simple, Lovable, Innocent, Dedicated person I have ever met in my life.Has a lot of respect for his family, very famous and still so down to Earth.. :) and not to forget,a player with the finest playing technique :)

Years passed.........Ups and Downs came in his life and so in mine..But that Love, Respect and Admiration is still there and will always be :)
His 37th Birthday was on 11th January..Bless him with Health, Happiness and...whatever he needs :)

Sukhino bhavantu"

The Most Beautiful Spot in the Universe

There is a place you can come where everything is beautiful.Tourists travel from place to place looking for beauty. With photos, and souvenirs, they try to take the beauty back home with them. They only get tired, and tanned.

Yet the most beautiful spot anywhere is right here. When you come here, you find that everything is so beautiful wherever you are.
Where is this place?

Don’t look here, and there; come within you. When you are here, then any place becomes beautiful. Then wherever you go, you add beauty there.

If you are unhappy, even the moon irritates you, sweet things nauseate, music disturbs. When you are calm, and centered inside, noise is musical, clouds are magical, rain is liquid love.
Book yourself on a trip to this most beautiful place in the universe. Then you’ll find that every day is a vacation, and a celebration.

SRI SRI

Radha and Longing...

Radha...............Whenever we talk about infinite Love and Devotion, this name automatically comes in mind :)
The love story of Radha-Krishna had so many colors. The color of mischief, devotion, innocence, mystery, controversies....complete in all aspects.
It is said that Radha was older than Krishna..which is totally opposite to the conventional views about Love :)
But there is a deep mystery which was revealed by Guruji in a session..
Radha means Longing and Krishna means Fullfillment...There has to be a Longing first only then can Fullfillment occur..Thus Radha has to be older than Krishna :)
Beautiful na :)

Our Body and The Washing Machine

Our body is like a washing machine. Our mind is like cloth. Love is like pure water. Knowledge is detergent. Each lifetime is one wash cycle.
The mind comes into the body to get cleansed and pure. But if you put in mud instead of detergent, your clothes become dirtier than before. You will have to go on putting your clothes in the washing machine to get them cleaned. And the process repeats again and again.

Similarly, you will have many more births until you stop repeating the mistakes that you have made.

If I had to....... By Gujji ;)

 IF  I  HAD  TO....

If I had to promise you something, what would it be?
I can’t promise that you would always be comfortable…
Because comfort brings boredom and discomfort.

I can’t promise that all your desires will be fulfilled…
Because desires whether fulfilled or unfulfilled bring frustration.

I can’t promise that there will always be good times…
Because it is the tough times that make us appreciate joy.

I can’t promise that we will be rich or famous or powerful…
Because they can all be pathways to misery.

I can’t promise that we will always be together…
Because it is separation that makes togetherness so wonderful.

Yet if you are willing to walk with me, if you are willing to value love over everything else
I promise that this will be the most rich and fulfilling life possible.
I promise your life will be an eternal celebration,
I promise you I will cherish you more than a king cherishes his crown,
And I shall love you more than a mother loves her newborn.
If you are willing to walk into my arms,
If you are willing to live in my heart,
You will find the one you have waited forever….
You will meet yourself in my arms…
I promise  :)

Knowledge and Awareness

" There is a little difference between knowledge and awareness..Knowledge is about knowing things and Awareness is about being aware of the knowledge.
For ex: You have a head on your shoulders. This is knowledge but as soon as you read this line it becomes an awareness :)....'You are breathing' is knowledge but now it is an awareness :) "

Live your life with awareness and not just with Knowledge...It will become more Blissful for sure :)
TRIED n TESTED !!!! :)

The Cry :( for ATTENTION !!!

A beautiful piece of knowledge from my First Advance Course...again :)
"Attention is what your body is crying for...
Any pain in the body or any kind of discomfort demands your attention. It demands attention because it has been badly ignored before that.. :)
Once you start attending to all the discomforts, everything subsides and dissolves.."

So True !!!
Pain in the stomach due to overeating or starvation, headache, cavity in the teeth , body ache , Backache , problem in breath etc etc ..Sometimes or many-a-times :) we get completely lost in everything around us and start  ignoring the physical presence of ourself... i.e. our body  :)
And the body resists to stand this ignorance and responds by crying in the above mentioned ways ...and may be in many more other ways..It has a lot of tactics to draw your attention..
It is more smarter than you think :)
"Your body is an abode of God..Respect it....Love it :)  - Sri Sri "

PS :  I am eating a lot of junk these days. With this post I have decided to reduce it...Its better to give attention to your body beforehand :)  ;)

Symbology of Mythology

In Hindu Mythology,Goddess Laxmi is shown sitting on a lotus in water where as Goddess Saraswati is shown sitting on a rock..It has a very deep meaning, came to know about it just a few days back :)

Goddess Laxmi sitting on a lotus in water signifies the Impermanent fleeting nature of wealth.
Whatever wealth, prosperity one has it will not stay forever..It is very momentary and will be carried away with the flow of water..
So, drop these attachments for it is very short-lived and transitory :)

Goddess Saraswati is depicted sitting on a rock.It signifies that whatever Knowledge one gets should get imprinted on the Chit n Chetna :)

Just like anything U write on a rock stays forever..
Knowledge is Eternal unlike wealth..
Further She has Veena in one hand and Books on the other..
signifying that both Knowledge n Fun are important in Life.
So,dont miss on anything :)
Got it :)

Give Me Not...

PRAYER

Give me not Thirst, if U cannot give me Water..
Give me not Hunger, if U cannot give me Food..
Give me not Desires, if U cannot Fulfill them..

Give me not Head, if I cannot drop the Ego..

Give me not Breath, if I cannot Love and Live..
Give me not Mouth, if I cannot speak the Truth..

Give me not Heart, if I cannot Feel..

Give me not Emotions, if I cannot Handle..

Having a short break after exams...completely relaxing n enjoying in the freezing winters of Delhi :)
First time experienced the famous 'Dilli ki Sardi'  :)
So in my free time came across another beautiful Bhajan...heard it many-a-times..
Simply Luv it :)

Tu hi saagar hai, tu hi kinaara
Dhundta hai tu kiska sahara ?

Kabhi tan me, kabhi man me uljha
Tu sada apne daaman me uljha
Sabse jeeta tu apne se haara
Dhundta hai tu kiska sahara ?

Paap kya punya kya tu bhula de
Karm kar phal ki chinta mita de
Ye pariksha na hogi dobara
Dhundta hai tu kiska sahara ?
Tu hi saagar hai, tu hi kinaara
Dhundta hai tu kiska sahara ?

Uski chaya hai darpan usi ka
Tere dil me hai chaya usi ka
Teri aankho me uska ishaara
Dhundta hai tu kiska sahara ?
Tu hi saagar hai, tu hi kinaara
Dhundta hai tu kiska sahara ?

Vish nikaale ya amrit nikaale
Doob kar thah apni tu paale
Tu hi Shiv, tu hi Shiv ka dulaara
Dhundta hai tu kiska sahara ?
Tu hi saagar hai, tu hi kinaara
Dhundta hai tu kiska sahara ?

It simply means  U are...what U are looking for !!!
Wow... Intelligent ho :)

Got Everything :)

Love this beautiful song sung by Chitra Ji, AOL singer..
Beautiful Lyrics :)

Mujhko zameen aasmaan mil gaye..
Guru kya mile Bhagwan mil gaye..
Kitna berukha tha jeevan, kitni bebasi ,
Ruth hi gayi thi mujhse kab ki har khushi...
Mehar ho gaya Meharban mil gaye ,
Guru kya mile Bhagwan mil gaye...
Har janam me Gyan adhura chod aaye hai ,
Van me jaisi gyan ke hum mod aaye hai..
Guru me hi Gita Kuran mil gaye..
Guru kya mile bhagwan mil gaye..
Mujhko zameen aasmaan mil gaye..
Guru kya mile Bhagwan mil gaye..
Bhagwan mil gaye
Bhagwan mil gaye
Bhagwan mil gaye :)

Everything is happening so perfectly that I have to keep on reminding myself that it is not a dream :)
Its not a dream..shayad ;)  :)

The GURU of Joy :)

"When its the Right time..a Guru finds U..in Millions...in Billions !!!"
In 2009,my Guru found me.. :) n my journey back to my Home started :)
The word 'Guru' is badly misinterpreted in today's date :)
It means some fake  'Lambi daadi wale Babaji' talking about extremely boring out of world things...Having a great following who consider him/her as God...Atleast I thought this way ;) :)
About the followers and devotees I used to feel k have they lost it completely :) How could anyone have so much faith on anyone just like that...

But Sri Sri RaviShankar ji, my Guruji..The Guru of Joy...completely changed my thinking.Always keep wondering how beautifully he answers simple to complex questions of the devotees...with so much freshness n simplicity everytime :) He made me realise that the spiritual journey is not a boring thing rather it filled with so much fun n bliss :)
Some Q/A with him :-
Q.) What is a soul mate?
Sri Sri : First you meet your soul, then you can find out about soul mate.
Q.) I want to sleep with you... (everybody was in shock ;) )
Sri Sri : I came all the way  from India to wake U up and U want me to sleep :)
Q.) Guruji, everyday all over the world, wherever U go,people ask U almost the same questions..
Dont U get bored???
Sri Sri : My consciousness is Nit-Nutan (New n Fresh every moment)
And where there is Love everything is Effortless :)

Heard this beautiful knowledge from Gaurav Bhaiya...
"Our mind loves to complicate things. We have read or heard many-a-times that we are God...part of that Divinity, that Source we are looking for..But our mind complicate things again..Creates a distance between us and the Divinity..Creates a separate identity of the God
We are so comfortable addressing God as a Second person..as Him.Someone who exists but is different from Us :)Thanks to our mind again ;)
Guru is the Third person who takes us from the Second person back to the First Person again :)
Making us realise we r part of HIM..We r HIM...We r the Divine :) "

As the famous saint and poet Kabir Das also says :
"Sab Dharti Kagaz Karu, Lekhan Ban Raye.
Sath Samundra Ki Mas Karu, Guru Gun Likha Na Jaye"

MEANING : Even if the whole earth is transformed into paper with all the big trees made into pens and if the entire water in the seven oceans are transformed into writing ink, even then the glories of the Guru cannot be written. So much is the greatness of the Guru.

Very True....I completely agree NOW :)
Mere Satguru Ki chavi kaisi hai??? Mohe laage Mohan jaisi hai.............
Love U  :)
